Starbucks ® Haywards Heath Sainsbury

Welcome to Starbucks ® Haywards Heath Sainsbury, located conveniently within the Sainsbury's store on Bannister Way, Haywards Heath RH16 1. This establishment is a fusion of the beloved Starbucks coffee culture with the bustling atmosphere of a grocery store. As you step in, you're enveloped by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, making it a tempting stop for both the casual shopper and the dedicated coffee lover.

As a food reviewer, the ambiance here is quite unique. However, it can often be overshadowed by the clamor of shoppers, which some patrons like Lauren Mitchell noted can be a bit distracting. One cannot escape the hustle and bustle of the adjoining supermarket, and this may affect your experience, particularly when ordering. But fear not; amidst the chaos, there are glimmers of warmth and exceptional service that shine through.

Take for instance Natalie Calver’s delightful experience where the staff went above and beyond by gifting her children reusable cups with their names on them. Acts of kindness like this elevate what could be a standard cafe visit into a cherished memory. It’s these small touches that can brighten your day and make a quick coffee stop feel personal.

  • Drink Quality: While the coffee options are varied, experiences like Joseph Yossefi's disappointment with the Americano serve as a reminder that consistency in flavor can sometimes be elusive. It's a mixed bag—sometimes you'll find the brews flavorful, while at other times they may leave you wanting more.
  • Service Experience: Customer service can swing between warm and disheartening. Numerous reviews suggest that the morning crew may need to work on their guest interactions, as highlighted by Josh T, who found an unwelcoming atmosphere. It’s a community space, and a friendly smile can go a long way in making guests feel at home.
  • Seating and Environment: While the cafe does provide space for working with plugins for mobile devices, cleanliness can be an issue, as noted by other patrons. The experience of enjoying your drink can be affected if tables are not well-kept, detracting from the overall ambiance.

In summary, Starbucks ® Haywards Heath Sainsbury is a mixed experience, offering both the comfort of a recognizable brand and the occasional frustration of a busy location. The service has potential for greatness, with customers noting the kindness of the staff, and the community feel is palpable. Yet, the quality of the coffee and the cleanliness of the space leave room for improvement. Whether you're grabbing a drink to-go or looking for a spot to sit and unwind, your visit may vary widely. It’s an adventure that is as much about the coffee as it is about the human connection. So, next time you find yourself in Haywards Heath, consider stopping by—perhaps you’ll leave with a warm drink and a fond memory.

Ok starbucks but its attatched to the sainsburys store so with all the noise from the store you can't hear what the staff are asking you. I asked to eat in yet they did my order to go. Tables were all dirty with crumbs and litter from previous customers - not very nice. Changed star rating as I visited the other day and the service was so much better but unfortunately they didn’t ask me to scan my Starbucks app to get loyalty points which is annoying as you can’t get them afterwards. Again they did my order to go they didn’t ask it was raining I wanted to sit in the store to enjoy my drink etc. I got a reusable cup and ended up having to take my drink home in the tipping rain - I’m disabled and it was challenging to walk with my wheels with a drink in my hand. I wasn’t sure if I could sit in when they had done the order to go.Wheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair accessible

Had a lovely experience today.Went with my children, both asked if they could have a hot chocolate in a take away cup as they are obsessed with the cups. Which they lady kindly did. While having our drinks. The very kind lady came over with reusable cups with their names on and gave them to the kids as she knew they loved the cups. This amazing act of kindness meant the entire world to them.So thoughtful.Thank you to Emily. Very kind hearted member of staff.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly, helpful, caring staff

Staff are very cold and rude. Consistently, when coming here in the morning the two ladies working the morning shift make you leave feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. They also were on multiple times so slow at making the drinks. two stars for the drink. I see a lot of comments about mes. The place didn't seem messy when I went but I always have my drinks to go so would not have sat in so I can't entirely say either way.Won't come back here and don't recommend going.(PS I don't know their names. I know they worked early shifts last week/the week before. So it may improve if other people take over the shifts. However I only get time to go in the mornings before work. So I'm talking about that experience)
